Jalapeno popper wonton cups
These are crispy wonton cups filled with a creamy, cheesy jalapeño mixture. They’re super easy to make and perfect for a quick appetizer.
Ingredients (makes 12 cups)
12 wonton wrappers
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 to 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, letting the corners stick up.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and diced jalapeños until well combined.
Spoon the filling evenly into each wonton cup.
Bake for about 18 to 20 minutes, until the edges are golden and the filling is bubbly.
Let them cool slightly before serving.
TIPS
Remove the seeds from the jalapeños for less heat, or leave some in if you want them spicier.
Serve warm for the best texture.
You can also add green onion to the filling if you want to switch it up.
